Terms and Conditions of Watsons Water "Drops of Fun" Rewards Program

 

These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between you, our Member (as defined below), and AS Watson Group (HK) Limited[1] and Watsons Water (HK) Limited (together referred to as “we" or "us"), the joint operators of Watsons Water "Drops of Fun" Rewards Program ("Program"). If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions of the Program, the English version shall prevail.

 

1. Membership Application:

 

1.1. A member of the Program ("Member") includes any of Tier-1 Member, Tier-2 Member and Tier-3 Member.

 

1.2. Upon successful registration via Watsons Water "Drops of Fun" Rewards Mobile App ("App") or the Program's website, you become a Tier-1 Member. A Tier-1 Member who has accumulated designated reward points (“Reward Points”) and green points (“Green Points”) (see Clause 1.4 below) can upgrade to Tier-2 or Tier-3 Member, respectively.

 

1.3. You need to register a membership account under the Program under your own capacity. Each valid mobile number, Facebook account and/or Wechat account (applicable when the membership profile is linked to your Facebook account and/or Wechat account) can only be eligible for registering a membership account once.

 

1.4. Members can earn Reward Points to redeem designated gifts by scanning the unique QR code imprinted on the bottle cap of each eligible Watsons Water bottled water products or the PET bottle of Mr. Juicy selective products as specified under Clause 2.1 below. Member can also earn Green Points by successfully recycling empty plastic water bottle via Green Point Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine. For details of earning Reward Points and Green Points, please refer to Clause 2 below.

 

1.5. Membership Tiers:

a) Upon successful registration as a Member and accumulating designated Reward Points and Green Points, your membership tier can be upgraded to the next tier, and you can enjoy the corresponding privileges of the respective membership tier.

Gift redemption

Selected gifts or prizes can only be redeemed by a Member according to his/her designated membership tier. And the required Reward Points/Green Points for redemption of the same gift item may vary for different membership tiers.

 

 

1.6. We may decline your application as a Member under the circumstances as may be determined by us in our sole discretion.

 

1.7. We are not responsible for any loss as a result of Members' failure to notify us of any change(s) to mobile phone number, e-mail address and/or any other personal information.

 

1.8. In the event that your membership account has no activity for a period of three years, we will, for your own and our protection, deem your account to be no longer in use. We will deactivate your account and all your accumulated Reward Points and Green Points will be forfeited. Your personal information in our record will also be deleted. You may need to reapply for a new membership if you wish to rejoin the Program. 

 

1.9. Our Program’s membership is limited to individuals over 18 and above. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to join the "Drops of Fun" Rewards Program.

 

2. About the Program:

 

2.1. Earning Reward Points

a) Members can earn Reward Points by scanning the bottle cap QR code(s) of designated volume of Watsons Water bottled water products with designated promotional sleeve about the Program or the PET bottle of selective Mr. Juicy products with the App as follow:

b) Reward Point(s) for each bottle cap QR code can be scanned and rewarded once only.

c) A maximum limit of 100 bottle cap QR code scans by each account per day, and a maximum limit of 300 bottle cap QR code scans by each account per week. No points rewarded if bottle cap QR code scan number is above maximum limit. Extra Points rewards are determined by respective terms and conditions

 

2.2. Earning Green Points

a) Members can also earn Green Points by successfully recycling empty plastic water bottle via Green Point Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine as follow:

*As other bottled water brands have no obligation to provide product information to us, we cannot ensure that the Program will cover all bottled water products in the market. However, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain and update the database of bottled water product of other brands. Members are welcomed to provide related information to the email drops-of-fun@aswatsons.com.

b) Earned Green Points will be deposited to member account within 24 hours upon successful completion of recycling procedure.

 

2.3. Expiry dates of Reward Points and Green Points are as follow:

The Reward Points and Green Points are valid from the earning date until the end of the next calendar year end. For example, Reward Points and Green Points earned on 1 February 2021 will expire on 31 December 2022. Any unused Reward Points and Green Points will be cleared thereafter.

 

2.4. How to redeem gift(s) through the App or program website:

(i) Members can view the latest balance and updates of Reward Points and Green Points under "Profile".

(ii) Members can browse for gifts, the required Reward Points, Green Points and cash (if applicable) under "Gifts" in the App or the Program’s website. Reward Point(s) and Green Point(s) redeemed will be deducted automatically by system after the redemption is confirmed. Gifts under the category “Green Reward” can only be redeemed by Green Points. Other gifts can only be redeemed by Reward Points unless otherwise specified.

(iii) Redeemed gift(s) can be viewed in "My Gift". Members can check the redemption details and expiry date for each Gift. For instant reward redeemed via Green Point Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine, please follow the instruction on screen to pick up the reward.

(iv) All gifts must be redeemed by the expiry date.

(v) Any expired Reward Points and Green Points will be automatically forfeited.

(vi) For certain gifts Members can only redeem within Hong Kong.

 

2.5. Our record of all Members' Reward Points and Green Points shall be final and conclusive.

 

2.6. Your Reward Points and Green Points cannot be transferred to other individuals, and cannot be combined for use with Reward Points and Green Points from other Members' accounts.

 

2.7. All Reward Points, Green Points, gifts and prizes under the Program are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-replaceable for cash or other gifts in all cases.

 

2.8. The quota of gifts and prizes under the Program are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis while stock lasts.

 

2.9. We reserve the right to deduct the corresponding Reward Points and Green Points earned by you in response to the return of the products purposed and unsuccessful water bottle recycling attempt.

 

2.10. Conversion of Gold Drops for Members subscribed to the Program on or before 19 December 2018

Gold Drops under a Member’s account which are valid as at 19 December 2018 had been converted to Reward Points at the conversion rate of 1 Gold Drop to 45 Reward Points.

 

3. Others

 

3.1. As the Program operates through systems which rely on communication networks, electricity networks etc., which may be beyond our control, we cannot always ensure that the Program operates at all times. However we will make all reasonable efforts to ensure our system supports the operations in connection with the Program.

 

3.2. Members who discovered in-use of plug-in units or any other ways that affect the fairness of the Program will be disqualified without further notification.

 

3.3. Any termination of membership requests can be made in writing to Watsons Water at any time. All unused Reward Points, Green Points unredeemed gifts or prizes and all rights or entitlements shall become invalid upon termination of your membership

 

3.4. In the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions, or causing unauthorized, misconduct, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful usage, we have the right to stop one's participation in the Program and/or immediately terminate one's membership with or without notice. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from and also has the right to take action for recovery of any loss suffered by us as a result of the breach.

 

3.5. We reserve absolute right to terminate the Program at any time with reasonable notice, where reasonably practicable. Members will be informed 60 days before the termination of the Program. All rights and privileges of the Members shall cease upon the termination of the Program. We will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.

 

3.6. We reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Program without prior notice. Members should regularly check whether this Terms and Conditions of the Program has been modified, as the Member's continued use of the Program or the App indicates the acceptance of any change to this Terms and Conditions of the Program. We shall bear no liability to any impact or loss or damage that Members suffered or incurred due to such change, update or revision.

 

3.7. Not all Members will be eligible to participate in all promotions and we may from time to time impose other limitations on Members' participation in any particular promotion. Members taking part in any promotion shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by any specific terms and conditions which may be imposed by us in relation to such promotion.

 

3.8. In the event of any disputes arising from the Program or the Terms and Conditions, we shall be the sole and final arbiter of such disputes and its decision shall be absolute and binding on the Member.

 

3.9. The contents of the Program and the App, including text, diagrams, images, music, symbols, graphic button, links, HTML code, trade mark, software, compilations and other materials ("Materials") are protected by copyright law, trade mark law and other applicable laws. All Materials are the exclusive property of us or our contents provider or our clients. Without any prior written permission from us, Members shall not, for any public or commercial purpose, sell or modify the Materials, copy, reproduce, re-issue, upload, download, publish, transmit, display, publicly implement, issue the Materials in any way, store the Materials in the retrieval system or use it in any other way.

 

3.10. The App is only compatible to designated mobile devices using iOS 10.0 or above, or Android 8.0 or above.

 

3.11. Disclaimer:

(i) Members acknowledge that they use the Program and the App and the Website at his/her own risk. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by Members arising out of the use of the Program and the App. We shall also have no liability for any loss or damage caused by our deletion of Member Information, suspension of Members' right to use the Program or any unavailability, suspension or termination of the Program.

(ii) All information, trademarks, logos, graphics, videos, audio clips, links and other items appearing on the Program and the App/the Website ("Information") are for reference only and is subject to change at any time without prior notice and at our discretion. Whilst we endeavor to ensure the accuracy of the Information on this Program and this App, no express or implied warranty is given by us to the accuracy of the Information. We shall bear no responsibility for any incorrectness or leakage.

 

3.12. You acknowledge that we are neither the supplier nor service providers for the gifts or services for redemption under the Program. We expressly disclaim all warranties and liabilities of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

 

3.13. In case of any dispute, we reserve the right to make all final decisions. We have sole and absolute discretion to disqualify the member's eligibility to participate in this Program.
